Mari Kotskyy is a New York-based composer, arranger and pianist, originally from Hokkaido, Japan.
Her works have been performed throughout Japan, and US (New York and Boston).
Her piano work “Snowfall” received a prize from the international composition competition “The contemporary piano 2019” (Athens, Greece).
Also her another piano work “Migrating Birds” has been selected by RMN classical (London, UK). It’s included in a new album “Modern Music for Piano 2” and released in 2019.
Mari studied composition at The Juilliard School Evening Division under the guidance of Conrad Cummings. Currently she studies at Berklee Online with a major in Music Composition for Film, TV, and Games. She composes in a variety of music styles, including classical pieces and film scores.
She released a piano album “Rest” in 2018.
